Growth Preconstructed

Growth Preconstructed is a preconstructed deck of 50 Growth scrolls, and one of the three decks each player can start with. It that can be purchased from the store for 6,500 gold or 500 shards (unless it's your starter deck). As its name suggests, all of the scrolls in this deck require Growth resources to be played.

In-game description

50 Growth scrolls. A great way to boost your collection or try out a Growth deck for the first time.

Growth units use the power of nature to defeat their foes. Plants, beasts, and the raw brutality of kinsfolk can overwhelm opponents before they have time to organise their ranks.

This deck will be cheap to play and quick to attack. Nurture your units and they'll grow into weapons of overwhelming power. Synergy is key to mastering the power of nature.

History

In the beginning of the alpha version of Scrolls, Growth Preconstructed was the only default deck provided to new players. The two other preconstructed decks (Energy Preconstructed and Order Preconstructed) were only later introduced into the game, as part of the 0.70 alpha version.

Since its introduction into the game, this deck has been overhauled several times:

0.70 alpha

The deck has been updated along with adding the two other preconstructed decks.

0.72 alpha

Due to resource balancing in that version, the scroll list had to be modified in order to take into account the scrolls whose resource type had changed.

0.82 alpha

Preconstructed decks had to be modified again as the minimum deck size had been increased to 50 scrolls.

0.89 alpha, 0.90 alpha and 0.93.2 beta

The deck has been updated in order to equalize scroll rarity among preconstructed decks (5 rares, 13 uncommons and 32 commons).
